Every child deserves access to an education. Not every child has one.

The Story

A classroom filled with young students sitting at wooden desks, reading books, with colorful drawings of animals and a tree on the yellow-painted walls, and sunlight coming through the open window.

Around the world, 273 million children and young people are currently out of school. More than half of them are in sub-Saharan Africa. These are not abstract statistics. They are children who will grow up without the foundation they need to build a life.

The gap between what these children have and what they need is real. Schools without qualified teachers, classrooms without basic resources, and communities where the cost of education is simply out of reach. But the gap is also closeable, and it starts with people who are willing to act.

Chazon begins in Africa because that is where our founder's roots and network are. But the need for quality education extends far beyond any one continent, and as Chazon grows, so does our commitment to support communities wherever the need exists and wherever the people in our network have personal connections.

Every donation made through this page is directed toward children who lack access to adequate educational resources. We are currently identifying the schools and communities we will support, and we are committed to being transparent about where every pound goes.
